  Strictly a mail-order/online business, Continental Records Co. Ltd still outshines the vast majority of walk-in stores that I've dealt with over the past couple of years. I stumbled across their website while looking for sources for 7" 45RPM records to fill a recently acquired jukebox with and I'm happy to say that they don't disappoint. Neil is extremely pleasant to work with and is epitome of Canadian politeness on the phone. He was able to answer any questions I had and made me feel completely secure in placing an international order for some very hard to find records without worry. I wish we had a store like this in the US!
  
  As for the merchandise, I bought fourteen 7" 45RPM records from him and they arrived exactly as expected and described. They are all "New Old-Stock" meaning that they've never had a stylus put to them before you receive them. This is huge for any vinyl record fan as it means you don't have to worry about groove wear or other issues. The sleeves show their age a little, but not terribly (even the newest ones are from an age when records shipped in paper picture sleeves without any plastic covering) and the records are mint. There may be a little dust that has settled over the years (again, this is all new old-stock) but a quick wipe with a vinyl record brush and they sound crystal clear on your turntable and system. Shipping was free for orders over $75 when I bought my set during a July 2018 special offer, and for something crossing the border, it arrived in a reasonable time (about a week) and I can't complain about the price.
  
  Lastly, the catalog is fairly easy to navigate (it's alphabetical by band/artist) but there's no electronic shopping cart. Just write down the name of the artist and single you're looking for and tel Neil over the phone. It's an old-fashioned way of doing things, but so is listening to music on vinyl, and honestly, it makes the experience that much better in the long run.
  
  I'll definitely be buying from Continental Records Company Ltd. again in the very near future!
