Jack Darling leash-free dog park is an excellent service delivered by the City of Mississauga, Peel Region and supported by the volunteers at Leash-Free Mississauga. I walk my dogs there almost every day. I joined the Leash-free association last fall; $20 for both of my dogs. I encourage all users to become members; it is a small price to pay for a safe place to walk my dogs.
Fully fenced huge park...
Huge and beautiful park. On top of a big water treatment facility which makes for an interesting view. Thoroughly fenced in and lots of entrances. There is a water tap and bowls. There is a big hill which gets fenced off for tobogganing in the winter.
It's a massive park. But in the beginning of the park at entrance it's a ???? dog park. Park for family and kids are little inside of 300 metres . So go ahead inside and park your car and have a lovely time with your family. If you are with kids carry their swim suit or extra pair of clothes. There you can bring and eat your home food and do barbeque. There is fountains of water for kids to enjoy and kids playzone there.
I love Jack Darling. Its so peaceful and the lake is so close it doesn't smell there like it does at Marie Curtis its better maintained than some other parks. I like Rat Rae marsh we have been going there since we were kids.
