(December 2, 2018, 6:11 pm)Excellent music school for students of all ages. My 6 year old Grand daughter studies Piano and Vocal. All teachers especially Elizabeth are caring and understand needs of their students. I am very very happy to find this school and will recommend to all family and friends. (October 10, 2018, 1:49 am)My son has been taking lessons to play the drums at this studio for two years and absolutely enjoys going to drum class every Tuesday. He's had many great teachers; however, Matthew (he says) by far is the best drummer and teacher he has ever had. Prior to learning drums my son was simply playing by ear. Matthew stresses the importance of being able to read music, and by adding sight reading to his repetoire his skills have improved dramatically. As well, we recently purchased a full size Westbury drum kit from Dan (the owner) to replace an electric one that he had been using. Dan gave my son an awesome deal that we just couldn't pass on... will definitely need to get drum mutes from the studio soon!!!
Thanks go out to Dan, for providing such a positive experience at the studio. He's very accommodating and communicates to parents of scheduling issues when they arise. The teachers are all fantastic... If you sit in the waiting room, you can always see the teachers walk the children out and provide feedback to the parents about the lesson.
The tuition fee is affordable and my son is learning and enjoying music... what's not to love??
We will continue to attend the National Academy of music until my son masters the drums!
