After living in a house last updated in the 80's for 4 years, I decided to reach out to Kara for advice to get the ball moving on some renovation work (finally!!), starting with the single small bathroom in the house. We had a tub, a small 900mm vanity and a shower behind the bathroom door that would only open halfway because it hit the frame of the shower. Beside this bathroom was a small water closet for the toilet, typical for Australian homes.
I knew it wasn't a large space, but I wanted to make the most of it and asked Kara for help. I sent her the room measurements and a couple days later I had several ideas on how to use the existing space or expand the bath to include the water closet.
Following renovation work a few months ago with local builders, I now have a massive, stunning bathroom with plenty of space to move around. A huge 1.5m long shower with dual shower heads and stunning height (perfect for me at 6'5"), a great 1200mm vanity, and a feature tile with distressed wood that fit the classic cottage style I was looking for but couldn't get designers in Australia to connect with.
I have been so blown away by Kara's ideas and support that I am saving up to start planning a kitchen renovation and garage conversion to add a master en suite and additional living space to the house with her guidance and support.
