A beautiful group of good-hearted people are at the core of this school. You can tell that the staff really care about the education of the students with the amount of energy they put in and the attention each student gets.

Awesome school! I enjoyed my experience there so much! Always a positive vibe within the school and from the staff. I have met some life long friends in the process of attending the school as well. Would recommend to everyone!

"There's always room for improvement"- certain staff members of NCA:)

NCA has been a breathe of fresh air compared to other schools I've been to. Trying to encourage people to get to know each other, no matter what grade. As well as encouraging people to embrace and express their culture, religion, talents and academic choices without feeling anxious or like they'd be judged. Being in a place where your teachers/staff push you to do your very best, as well as forming personal relationships with their students is something you don't commonly find at any other school. I find the school to be very accommodating to ALL and have never felt 'left behind' in a class or like the opportunity to do better was not open to me. Having a mentor/men-tee relationship with your teachers/staff, as well as them genuinely caring for you and your grades, personally, got me through my one year of living at residence. This kind of relationship reminded me, and many others, as someone filling the shoes of your parents, your aunties and uncles, your siblings or your legal guardian(s). This kind of relationship can be crucial to any of the international students, students living far from home, or students just lacking someone to set an example and standard for them.

I will say, no school is perfect and NCA does come with it's share of flaws and social pressures, just like any other building full of teenagers would. Although, at this school I've found it to be a lot easier to avoid things that at my previous school, I seemed to never be able to find an escape from. I am very grateful for the things I've learnt at this this school, that weren't necessarily taught in a classroom. These lessons I know wouldn't have the same profound affect on my life if they'd been taught to me at any other school by any other people.

Of course peoples opinions of the school will differ. But, I've found most of the people with negative things to say either left after one year or formed an opinion once they left or graduated. Usually based on grudges/complaints they formed but never honestly expressed to administration, while they were still attending. Personally, I really don't think someone can form a fixed, negative opinion on this school after attending for only one year, or should be forming one after graduating..move on. I'm going into my fourth year and am still surprised at how the school, staff, people, and the environment changes. Before you take my word for it or the negative words of others, please look at NCA's Facebook page and find the video of the 2019 graduating class valedictorians speech and see, first hand, what the school has done for them and their class. I'm excited to see what changes and opportunities the school will bring next year and the year after.

I loved my experience there. Although I was at the school for a year, I felt connected to everyone. The teachers are amazing and they really care about you and how you’re doing in the course.
