Hey Shawn, I’m sorry you had a negative experience with our company, but let me explain why you were charged. Originally we were called to travel to seaforth to unlock a vehicle, but a method of payment could not be confirmed. We require either cash or a credit card once on scene, or over the phone before we leave. This is a company policy. As payment could not be confirmed we did not dispatch a truck. Sometime later you had called in with a credit card number and offered to pay for the service, which was very nice of you as we understood you were not the person who had locked their keys in the car. We dispatched a truck immediately. It should be noted that that night we were experiencing inclement weather, and driving conditions were less than favourable, however our truck had reached St Columban by the time you had called in to cancel the service. It is our policy that because the truck had come out to you, you were charged the full amount of the bill. All together this was a 1 hour round trip in a snowstorm for our driver who, without these policies, would not be paid otherwise as our drivers are paid commission. We did our part and were more than accommodating in offering solutions for closer towing companies, phone numbers you could call, inquired about roadside programs such as CAA, and in the end at your request dispatched a truck immediately. 5 star plus service! I appreciated the prompt service when my car was stuck in a crazy amount of snow at the side of the road last night. -19 c temperatures and on a dark country road, Neumeister’s was there in 15 minutes and had me out and on my way home quickly. Driver Don was professional and a saviour, and I just wanted to say Thank You ????
