My husband and I are big fans of Shane's work after purchasing one of his paintings at a gallery in Canmore a few years ago. We were recently on holidays in Ontario and made the trip to Stratford with the sole purpose of visiting the Shane Norrie Contemporary gallery and we were not disappointed! The space is beautiful, airy and modern and the artists he had featured were nothing short of inspiring. We were welcomed into the gallery by Elizabeth, who was so interesting and hospitable and was a wealth of knowledge about the artists and the area. But, it didn't stop there, Shane came into the gallery a short while after we had arrived and joined in our conversation and was so interesting, approachable and humble. We are so appreciative to have had this experience and are beyond thankful for Shane's exceptional contribution to the arts!!!

What a gem of a gallery in the heart of Stratford. If you love art, you need to check it out. Showcasing representational contemporary art as well as magnificent abstract work, Shane Norrie Contemporary is the place to see the newest and most varied work. And Shane couldn't be more approachable to discuss the artists he represents and his own work.I am thrilled to see them move to the bigger and better space down the street.
