This is not one of the huge Walmart Supercenters. the store is Stratford is what I would consider right sized. it is new consequently it is clean and the staff are still very friendly and helpful which often you do not find in older stores. the parking lot is easily accessible and large. they have a good selection as Walmart usually does of all the brands and the store is well-stocked. overall for a Walmart and is one of the best.
It's just another Walmart store. They have almost anything a person could need or want and as a general rule the employees are helpful and friendly. There have been a number of incidents when I requested a manager when I was at the checkout due to the cashier not paying attention and errors being made that the inexperienced cashier was unable to correct. The line of customers behind me looked like they were becoming as impatient and irritated as myself and more often than not I ended up leaving the store frustrated and without the error having been corrected to my satisfaction.
Although they may be the best and most likely place to purchase just about anything imaginable the incredible lack of knowledge and customer service skills I have encountered have caused me to frequently go elsewhere costing me more or I have been unable to find the items I need
Found everything we needed, including that which was off season, and at a reasonable price.
Strangely, Walmart employees at this location seemed perfectly accustomed and amenable to customers clogging the aisles while asking questions. This was something if a trend for my migration through the "people of Walmart" in this particular occasion.
Fascinatingly, rather than quite diverse, one could be excused for someone to assume this behavior was inclined toward certain groups.
Anyway, after a crazily more complicated than usual expedition through the madness that is this franchise, I found a couple of items and the self-checkout is a welcome if not tad Orwellian adventure. (Note the multiple cameras showing you yourself and a huge prompt across the bottom indicating you're now immortalized).
