Best provider in the area. Staff always available and soon a great choice of optical cable choices in town. The real “ fibre” with an “r”.
The service at Wightman is fantastic. Real people on the line all the time, any time. And they’re friendly. However...
The product is not good.
Our internet is slow - slower than advertised, and slower than acceptable. And it drops - a lot. We keep calling, doing the IT thing over the phone: turn it off and on again, unplug this and that, line tests... techs come and look at the wiring - the same wiring as the last guy, and the guy before. They call Bell to look at the infrastructure. Bell “fixes it” and the ticket closes. And two days later the internet is gone again. I’ve heard from the phone agents that it’s cuz we’re in a less utilized part of town (were near major shopping outlets), and that we’re in a war-time home (it’s definitely not a war-time house)... all kinda of excuses for piddly, pathetic internet that isn’t particularly cheap, and certainly isn’t reliable.
I’ve always had pleasant interactions with the service people, but, like I said, the product isn’t good. In fact, the internet they provide to us is bad. And I’d fire them if I could find a better option.
