We went to Sammy's for the first time and it definitely wont be our last. We both had the 1 pound wings and tall boy for $12.99. We started talking to a family of 5 from Georgina who were eating there and they had the ribs and jerk chicken and said both of those meals were delicious. Vic, our combination host, server and cook was very friendly and apologised for the wait for food but it was well worth the wait. They are not a fast food restaurant and I would rather wait extra time for the food to be as good as it was. I think we found our "date night" restaurant.
The owner of the restaurant is a kind and generous individual who truly cares for the service to his customers. The food was also quite good, with a pleasant outdoor patio. I'll return if I find myself in the neighbourhood hungry.
