First time here in decades. Saw a matinee performance of Gibson and Sons. Excellent play! Acting was phenomenal as well as the set. For a small community theatre it was as enjoyable as much as shows that I have seen in Toronto! Ticket prices are so reasonable...$20/senior! Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will definitely be attending future productions!!
Went to see the Crucible recently and was pleasantly surprised with the experience. Quaint little theatre made from a converted church. Great acoustics to carry sound and actors were very committed to their roles. For a local theatre group, very convincing performance by most of the cast and very affordable tickets.
Went to see the Crucible and was in awe in the caliber of the performance. It was powerful, engaging and performed all around me. This venue allows you to get fully immersed in the performance. It was my first time at the venue and cannot wait to go back to see another show. The attendants are very helpful and ready to work with you immediately. Would go back for sure.
Amazing experience. My husband has never been to a theater performance, it's not something he's interested in; he was deeply moved even if he won't openly admit it. If you're looking for something new to try in Peterborough, I highly recommend checking out the Guild. Snacks and alcohol are available for purchase.
What an atmosphere, while the parking was like trying to play tetris with 20 people at once it's understandable with the location.
Beautiful ceilings, they make excellent use of the existing space and the acoustics are fantastic. Truly a gem.
