The Modern Makers Shop

This is my favourite store in Peterborough. The vibe as soon as you walk in so so FUN and welcoming. Everyone is so friendly and they’re always just having a good time in there. It’s so nice to see staff who appear to be genuinely enjoying their workplace. The selection of small businesses is awesome. There’s something for everyone. It’s the best place to go if you need a gift, or just want to treat yourself.

Absolutely love this shop! SO many amazing small businesses in one beautiful location! You'll definitely walk away with something so special when shopping there and everyone working there is fantastic and just so sweet! They're so happy to help you find what you're looking for and answer any questions you have! Not to mention the Markets they run are an absolute blast! Highly recommend shopping there and attending the markets!

There is no place like it!
It is instant happiness in the atmosphere of this store. The music, staff and small business vendors give off the most positive vibes. I normally have to do 3-4 laps around the store to try to take in all of the cool uniques things. I almost always leave with a metal list of what I need to go back and get next time because there is just so much I fall in love with. It is a must make stop anytime I'm in the Peterborough area!

Modern Makers Market is a true gem. The owner and staff are amazing. It’s perfect for finding those one of a kind gifts and supporting local. Plus they throw the most amazing maker markets 4 times a year that are truly a one of a kind show!
