Whetung Ojibwa Centre

An interesting place to shop. Some very unique finds here. There are stairs to deal with to see all of the displays which are in three different areas. Also, the bathrooms are on the lower level, so keep that in mind if you are planning to go there with someone with mobility issues. Although we live three hours away, we have visited here twice this summer and also have had them ship us items! So glad we took the time to go here on our vacation.

I ordered a pair of Classic Rabbit Fur moccasins and I am thrilled! They are extremely comfortable, and I love the suede sole. They also included a medicine wheel, which was a very kind and touching gesture -- I will be keeping it on my person.

Fantastic selection. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful art gallery inside. Always someone there to talk with as well as local survivor who is an artist weekly for beautiful healing and connection. Museum is small but has great local information and history. Would love to see someone there to explain things more completely. I always find the most beautiful beadwork there. Annual visit for moccasins for whomever in our family needs a pair. We LOVE this place and this FN!

I love this place! Stunning art, beautiful jewelry, lots of books you won't find in the box stores. The women running the shop are always friendly. My family and clients always love our visit ♥️

This shop has a massive selection. The first nations art in the form of paintings, sculptures, clothing amongst other things is a sight to behold. A lot of local history and books by first nations authors not available anywhere else. Even if you just want to buy one thing you spend a long time browsing looking at the beautiful creations.
