Had stopped in Havelock for fuel & something to eat. Didn't want the typical fast food fare and saw this family restaurant. Ordered the Turkey Club and was not disappointed. Real turkey was used. Asked for lightly toasted & that's exactly what I got. Took no time at all to prepare (5/6 minutes tops). Staff pleasant and accommodating. Very good experience.

We went to visit a friend outside of Havelock and she recommended getting ice cream here. They have Kawartha amazing ice cream. The scoops are huge, so get 1 less than you would normally get other places. I got a single scoop of the chocolate peanut butter and it was really good. I got a waffle cone as well. We got the dogs a cup of vanilla ice cream and they enjoyed it. We also got a strawberry milkshake. It was only alright, a little too much milk but was drinkable.
