Raisin Pie ... still warm and so were the butter tarts for the drive home.
A little place you could easily miss ... if you did, you would drive by an award winning bakery. Good Covid protocols letting in only two family groups at a time. Well done!

I have been in search of the perfect butter tart for many years. All over Durham region and beyond, many are very good. Doodoo’s butter tarts are exceptional. The crust is perfect, flavors are all excellent.

Not quick and not inexpensive however they have one awards and it shows... I would say the butter tarts are some of the best I've ever had and I've had a lot of butter tarts.
Sorry Grandmother's Pie Shop in Sudbury... you're long reign on top has now come to end.

These are the best butter tarts we have ever tasted! My sister's and I drove from Oshawa to get a few of these after hearing all the rave reviews.
We decided on the raisin butter tarts and we were not disappointed. They deserve every award they have been given. They are most definitely the best butter tarts in Ontario!
