Wildwood Cottages

We stayed at Wildwood Cottages for our first family vacation as a blended family. Was so special to us that we were able to relax and enjoy each other. With 4 kids ranging from 14 to 2 years it can be difficult to please them all and Wildwood was able to help accomplish that! We will definitely be going back as soon as we are able! Perfect memories were made and our family is forever grateful!

Where to begin....my family had a great vacation at Wildwood Cottage Resorts. The location was peaceful and beautiful! We stayed in Cabin 1 which is practically brand new with a huge wrap around deck which our 4 month old puppy enjoyed very much. It has 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom. Its the cleanest cabin which was nice as I suffer from allergies and I didn't have one reaction while staying there. The kitchen is equipped with everything you needed and the furniture was very clean and comfy! The resort had several activities free to use (paddel boards, kayak, trampoline on land and in water etc..) Fishing of the dock was great, so if you don't want to go out on a boat the fishes practically are waiting for you! If you want to watch a movie, the cabin has a pretty decent size flat screen and at the store there's a bunch of DVD's to borrow. The owners Jamie and Rebecca are the nicest and most accommodating people. Jamie is constantly running around making sure everything is cleaned and ready to go.
They treat their guests like family and that hospitality is rare to come by. Thank you so much Jamie and Rebeeca we had a great vacation at your resort and will definteky be back for sure. From Jenn, Ram, Olivia and Ozzie Mahabir!

If you want to have a family fun no need to look anywhere else Wildwood Cottages is the place to be. Our family had an amazing time and Jamie and Rebecca were wonderful to deal with. We stayed in cottage #5. Our kids were able to swim all day and fish off the dock. They have boats you can rent. Beautiful beach area with toys and kayaks. We love it so much we booked for next year already.

Really great stay, no doubts! The owners are very, very kind and available at all times. The resort has a dock for small boats (for rent) and a private beach with a trampoline, kayaks boards that you can use for free. We stayed at Cottage #4 which is a duplex with 3 bedrooms, 1 washroom, living room, kitchen and 2 balconies. They also provided us with a coffee machine, toaster, a BBQ grill and a fire pit.

Please note that bedding sheets and blankets are not provided so you must bring your own.

Some things could be improved, though. The mattresses are very uncomfortable and small. I'm 5.7ft and my feet were out of the mattress during sleep. My bed was also quite noisy which made it harder to sleep since every little movement made a huge noise. During summer it can be extremely hot and uncomfortable, so I believe that fans could be provided (bring yours!). We also found that there were no knives in the kitchen, so we also had to bring ours.

Overall, though, incredible place! This was our second summer there and for sure not the last! We will be coming back! Thank you for the amazing vacation.

Me and my family stayed there for the first time at the end of June and it was perfect! Having two kids, everything is right at your fingertips and all amenities are family friendly. The owners are incredibly gracious and provide free use of their non motorized water crafts which was my favourite part. Paddle boarding on a quiet and peaceful lake was heaven. The kids were entertained with swimming, the trampoline, and fishing. The cottage we stayed in was clean and we felt safe. Just beautiful, convenient, entertaining and relaxing. We are already planning to return next year.
