Applewood Retirement Residence

Since moving my dad into Applewood a few years ago we have had constant peace of mind knowing that he is well taken care of and yet has his independence. The staff at Applewood have always gone above and beyond to ensure a wonderful place for everyone. I now have other family members living at Applewood and we would highly recommend this residence to anyone. They are the best!!!

My Mother has made friends, both with other residents and staff.
She is happy and is where she wants to live.
I am satisfied that my Mother is well looked after and that the staff treat her as family.

We toured all of the Peterborough retirement residences when we were looking for a spot for my father. Applewood immediately felt warm and welcoming. We have never regretted the decision. They have provided a home-like atmosphere, with caring staff, and plenty of activities for those so inclined. The management response during this COVID pandemic has been nothing short of heroic. Not a single case. Thank you for your providing a home for my dad!

Our family couldn't be happier with Applewood Retirement Residence. Applewood is a very welcoming home and the staff are very caring and compassionate.....always friendly and welcoming. Our Mom is constantly telling us how lovely all of the staff are and how kindly she is being treated. She also often speaks of how much she LOVES the food :) Applewood was an easy choice after visiting other homes in Peterborough and our mother couldn't be happier here. It's been such a relief for our family knowing our Mom is so content and well cared for. This is an easy 5 star review for us.
