As a physically disabled person with no family support, I was growing increasingly apprehensive about my ability to look after myself as the date of my hip replacement surgery approached. But after one conversation with Brenda at ComForCare Peterborough, I knew everything was going to be all right. Brenda and her team of excellent caregivers (Cassandra & Justice) provided exactly what I needed to get through my surgery & begin the recovery process. Thank you so much!!!
I would like to share my thoughts about being an employee of ComForCare Peterborough.
I absolutely love being a caregiver. I feel that Woody and the office staff are a huge part of the reason why I love it so much. Woody Brumet is an amazing boss with a big heart. Brenda, Breymann and Michelle are incredible at their jobs which in turn makes my job run smoothly.
They all are very caring and kind individuals with a splash of humour. On the other side of this are the clients. There isn’t a better feeling in the world to be able to help someone’s day to day living be easier.Yes, it can be hard work but very rewarding at the same time. If you are interested in making a difference for the better in someone’s life, give Woody Brenda Breymann or Michelle a call.
Brenda Booth was an amazing coordinator. Walked us th through everything and very responsive and caring. Responds to any questions in timely fashion and so helpful! Grandpa adored this service even though he refused others. His worker Phillis was amazing and flexed with all his needs. Highly recommended.
My husband is in a wheelchair and ComForCare in Peterborough made it possible for us to go to the cottage this summer. Round the clock caregivers lived with us on the island. The caregivers were delightful, compassionate, skillful and fit right in with activities of cottage life. A special thank you to Woody Brumet, the franchise owner, who went out of his way to help us on the lake. I would recommend ComForCare to anyone. Thank you, Priscilla and Rick Brooks-Hill
My dad had a heart attack and ended up in Palative care. After a 10 day hospital stay the team of doctors agreed he could return home with a lot of PSW supervision. We tried numerous agencies who would give us an hour or two per day and coordinating hours was like running out own hospital. I spent hours on the phone.
We finally came across Woody and comforcare. He responded immediately and took our worries away. He arranged transport home for my dad, brought a nurse along and it felt to us that he was the only one that truly cared
He arranged all of the hours for care that we needed and was very compassionate and understanding with a grumpy old guy. My dad quickly came to love Woody when initially he wanted no one in his house.
I cannot say enough about Woody and his comforcare team. Compassionate, Responsive and Prifessional. Knowing my dad was cared for took a tremendous burden off us especially living in Toronto with my dad in Peterborough
Thank you Woody. From the bottom of my heart
