I am wondering what planet SW2022 lives on! It sounds to me that he or she is a very unhappy person -
I have lived in my GALW home for 25 years and have NEVER had any concerns with my build. The quality is superior to other homes in my subdivision as people often commented during construction.
Yes they have retired and the Kawarthas will miss this firm's professionalism and high standards I know I will.

We had Glen Watson Construction Limited build a house for us. The house offers better energy efficiency than any other we have had built, it was built to our specifications, on time and on budget. The site was always cleaned, allowing buyers to visit safely, and to determine the progress. Change requests were quickly quoted to enable decision making, and the process as a whole was exceptionally positive. This was the third house we have had built and it was by far the best experience. The fact that Glen and Loiuse live in the area they built in and that they are on good terms with their former customers speaks highly of the positve feelings they have created. Frankly I do not understand the negative review. It seems likely that this person, who hides thier identity, issues personal attacks, and lacks the ability to discuss building a home did not actually deal with Watson Construction and does not live nearby. Negative people troll the internet looking to annonomously lash out without any basis and unfortunately this is another example of that kind of person.

Our experience with Glen and Louise was great from the beginning of our build until the end. They provided the utmost in professionalism and dedication with ongoing communication and a lasting relationship. We are honoured to have them as our neighbour. For reviewer SW 2022 to say they are an embarrassment to the industry is none other than a personal attack. The Watson's have a 40 year history in building quality custom homes and we are proud to say we own one of them. As we look to the future and think of our next build, it is unfortunate we will not have Glen and Louise's expertise and quality workmanship and we know it will be a challenge to find a replacement.
Please speak for yourself in the future SW 2022, and no one else.

First off I would like to say I am appalled by the posted review by SW 2022. That person does not speak for this neighbor or the neighbors that I have known on this street for almost 10 years. Watson Construction was more than competent, very professional and constantly in communication with us. Glen & Louise Watson with their crew made our experience building our home a memorable one. It was a great experience and a great build. We are proud to tell everyone that we live in a home built by Glen Watson Construction. Longevity of a 40 year career is proof enough of well-respected competence. No need to move Glen & Louise, your always welcomed in this neighborhood. SW 2022’s review really only sounds like a personal vendetta lacking facts, shame on you.
