We've always had a good time here in Buckhorn. It's very entertaining to watch a 40ft houseboat get stuck sideways in the canal. Oh yeah, the resto. In this new world of social distancing, the outdoor dining is still enjoyable. Good food too. If you read any of my other posts, you know that I like to sample local brews, and so it was here that I tried Corona 'cause they don't have one.

Food and service is very good.
A huge improvement from previous owner.

3 of us had the fish and chips and my 2 girls had chicken strips and fries. We sat outside and had a great view of the lock (lock 31). Buckhorn is a nice small community where a lot of boats travel up and down the water way as well to stop for a bite to eat. Staff was friendly and very helpful and prices were reasonable. Got there around 1:30pm on a Wednesday when the crowds where starting to thin out.
