Rockside Cabins

What a wonderful experience. There is privacy as well as a sense of fun community at Rockside Cabins. The water is great, and the owner Rick and family are perfect hosts! A real gem!

Our family of 4 has been fortunate enough to visit Rockside Cabins on 3 occasions this past summer. The owners Rick, Jay and Emily have been working very hard over the last 2 years renovating each of the classic cabins. They are all updated with new roofs, exterior and flooring, new fixtures and countertops as well. A classic cabin resort with modern updates.

With 2 young children we are always extra cautious about the type of shoreline when we rent waterfront property. The property here puts us at ease, a flat grassy shoreline with a great sand beach, plenty of sand for digging and building castles. A gradual entry into the water with a sandy bottom, water shoes are recommended for the little ones as there were a number of snail shells in the sand (our kids can be a little fussy so the shoes saved us any snail enduced meltdowns....).

I'd really love to tell you about the fishing, but we all know that a fisherman never shares his secrets. You'll just have to bring a rod and find out for yourself ;)

We couldn't imagine a more perfect spot for an affordable family vacation. Thanks again to the Rockside Crew! We look forward to making more family memories in 2020 and beyond!

A beautiful cottage experience for family, couples or a just friends getaway.. Catch fish off one of five docks, or use a boat, kayak or peddle boat. Stunning lake views, swimming, hiking or just relax watching tv in a very nice furnished cabin. I have been here 3 times this summer and have had a blast every time. It’s a family run resort that’s pet friendly and a very special thanks to Rick (the owner) and his son Jason for always making our stay comfortable, safe and fun for the whole family.. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to experience the cottage lifestyle without having to have your own cottage..
