Angel Spa Service

Manjula of Angel Spa Service is AMAZING. I have been one of her clients since she was based in Scarborough and have been going to her for several services for about 5 years now. For those who are looking for a review, here are my honest thoughts on each of the services I have received from her:

1) Brazilian Wax: Manjula uses a hard wax that makes the process quick and as painless as it can be. It never takes longer than 15 minutes and that includes prep time. She even helps with any ingrown hairs, and even moisturizes you after the procedure. This is a service that I get with her every 3 weeks and I swear by it!

2) Manicure and Pedicure: I've gotten both mani's and pedi's with Manjula and she has a wide selection of colours from bright colours to neutrals in both regular polish and shellac. She even takes the time to massage your hands and feet and she offers all of the traditional add-on features like design, etc that you would find at a nail salon.

3) Massage: Manjula's massages are heaven, especially her scalp massages! She even uses coconut oil so it's good for your hair. Her pressure is perfect and she even offers extra blankets if you are cold on the table. She gives a selection of oils to choose from and offers various types of massages. If you want something relaxing, she can do it. If you want a deep tissue massage, she can do it.

4) Facial and Microdermabrasion: I have never gotten microdermabrasion before and was a little afraid, but she changed my mind about it. She does so many things to prep your skin for the facial, that it feels like those things are already the procedure! The steam feels great on the skin and she really goes in with her facial tool to get your pores as clean as possible. I know she even offers a bikini facial (I think that's the name of it) which I am excited to try out one day.

So basically, if you're looking for a professional who has been in the business for a long time and is actually licensed and takes the time to stay current with new procedures and techniques, Angel Spa Service is for you! Especially with everything going on with the pandemic, Manjula ensures that her space is safe and extremely clean. When you walk in, you're given sanitizer and she even takes your temperature. If you're new to waxing, I suggest you try it with Manjula. I've tried so many wax places in Downtown Toronto, local malls, private companies and there is a reason why I have been a loyal wax customer for years now and have even followed her all the way out in Pickering. She is worth the drive and worth the money!
