This B&B is a gem - my wife & I had an amazing time for our anniversary. Susan and her daughter and fantastic hosts, the location on the lake is breathtaking, the breakfast (included) and dinner (extra) were delicious.
Susan and her daughter also went the extra distance to get surprise presents for us from my parents which we really appreciated.
When we are back in the area, we will certainly be staying at this fantastic B&B.
Highly recommend. We stayed here for a night to celebrate our Anniversary and what a pleasant surprise from the host Susan! Upon arrival there was a beautiful card waiting for us, complimentary wine for 2 and fresh homemade lemon cake. We stayed in the nest room and it was wonderful. Susan made us feel comfortable and free to wander the property and enjoy the view of the Bay from the dock. We were served a wonderful fresh breakfast as well. Will definitely be back.
Everything was amazing! Susan is an incredible host and a fantastic cook. She had plenty of recommendations to help us to enjoy our time away from the property. The room was spotless and has an amazing view of the bay. We couldn’t have asked for more from our weekend getaway.
Little bit on heaven on earth! We enjoyed every minute of our restful, peaceful stay at the Empty Nest, from the welcoming card, rose wine in the fridge, gorgeous flowers and decor, cappuccino, tea, the delicious torte. Breakfast was an absolute delight with fresh fruit, yogurt, orange juice, granola, eggs benedict the first day and a delicious quiche the second day. Susan is a delightful, friendly, host who goes out of her way to ensure you're having a great time.
The sunsets are something to behold, we changed our dinner reservation to an earlier time so we'd be back to see the sunset on our second evening there. It's magical and magnificent, sitting in front of the big windows in The Bay View Suite watching the sun going down. We will go back in a heartbeat and highly recommend this perfect spot of paradise right on the water.
My husband and I recently had a weekend getaway at the Empty Nest and we couldn't have been happier with our stay!! The Bay View Suite was perfection! We were greeted with local treats and homemade torte that was fantastic!! The breakfasts were amazing and Susan was a delight to talk to!! So lovely and friendly. The view was beautiful (even in Feb) and there were plenty of beautiful birds flying by for us to enjoy. I highly recommend staying here!
