Charming bed and breakfast. Best breakfast ever and super friendly owners.
If you're looking for a great bed and breakfast in Prince Edward County, look no further than Hayes Inn. The moment you drive up to this heritage property (built in 1838!), the cleanliness and upkeep of the home is already evident. Once inside, you might have to pick your jaw up from the floor. From the elegantly designed conversation parlour to the nicely upgraded bedrooms and washrooms, I was thoroughly impressed. Katie and Mike were fantastic hosts, preparing delicious breakfasts every morning, and offering their insights into some of the best wineries and cideries in the area. We'll definitely be back again next year!
From the phone call to inquire about the inn until the farewell of our departure from our stay at Hayes Inn we give it 5 stars plus ! The entire house was immaculately clean. The gourmet breakfast was delicious and satisfying. There was coffee/tea and refreshment available all day .
The property is beautiful and very relaxing.
We would love to return for a longer stay:)
Thank you Kathy and Mike !

Absolutely loved our stay here. Warm butter tarts and espresso to welcome you, beautifully decorated rooms with scenic views. Staff was friendly and welcoming and the food served was fantastic. We will definitely visit again.
It wasn't long enough! We highly recommend this place. We felt so welcomed and comfortable throughout our whole stay. The room was beautiful. From tasteful décor, to the large bathroom, the rooms were super clean, (loved having a personal espresso machine in my room!), and the bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. From the fresh linens, to the historical ambience of the Hayes Inn, you really get to “get away”, yet still feel at home in this historical gem overlooking the beautiful country side of Prince Edward County. The atmosphere is so peaceful and serene.
The owners, Mike and Katie, are such lovely people who are very knowledgeable about the area and wonderful to talk to. The locally sourced home-made breakfast was equivalent to a 10 star meal, and was all produced with local agriculture, which would make any of the settlers of this historical county proud. I would absolutely recommend this B&B and plan on going back in the near future, hopefully for a longer time!
