Lake on the Mountain Brewing Company

Beautiful location. Beer flights were interesting 🍻

Beautifully tranquil spot for a cool brewery. They do flights so you can easily try a number of beers on tap (there were 8 when I was there). Favourite was definitely the Maggie’s Wheat. The staff were incredibly friendly and gave us some good tips on things to see in the area. Highly recommend!

Lake on the Mountain brewery is a great place to stop in and try some local brews. There is a cozy fireplace and sitting area for the winter. In summer there is a really nice outdoor seating area with lots of room. Note however, there is no food here off season other than chips and popcorn.

Picked up all their beers and most were pretty good! Also loved all the can designs. Their patio set up was pretty nice with seating area near a pond.

The Lake on the Mountain is a wonderful spot to visit.

The lake itself, nestled 60m above Lake Ontario offers wonderful views of the Bay of Quinte, and the Glenora Ferry.

Situated on the banks of the Lake on The Mountain, you will find the Inn and just a short distance from there, the Lake on the Mountain Brewing Company.

What started off as a light lunch, with a wonderful bruschetta, and tasty craft beer (Cream Ale) transformed into a visit to the brewery.

Both offered excellent service. The beer is a great example of small batch craft beer. If you opt to picnic in the area, a visit here would fit in nicely.

Also - a sit down meal, from my experience alone, would be a welcomed excursion.
