Beautiful picnic area by the lake. You can also learn about the history in this area.

Stunning scenery, lots of open space for family games, picnic etc. Lovely trail that loops the point and you can easily access the shoreline and walk along the limestone ledges.

A historic County destination. The Hotel mysteriously burnt in 1983. No public washrooms. Worth a star.
A spiritually and magical place if you can find w quite section in the warmer months.

This place is wonderful, when ever my friends and I go to sandbanks we always make a stop here. The view us to die for, we cant watch the fairy come and go, and even the wild life. We watched a hawk fly by with a fish! The food is wonderful, they have this pizza thing that I get all the time with cream fresh cheese. The bathrooms there are good sized tho I feel that they need to do a once over to get rid of bugs but there is not much you can do when the place is so open.
