A great budget hostel. Large, well equipped kitchen and common room. A bit off the beaten track. The surroundings are very quiet and peaceful, but you're only 20 minutes from the restaurants in Picton. Two wineries and a cidery within walking distance. No immediate access to the lake, but swimming can be had within a 20 minute drive. If you are coming to the County without a car, it is advisable to rent one. Taxis are available, but can be costly and are very busy during high season.

This place is some what tired. It is off grid, no Wi-Fi, no TV and poor cell signal. However is it very quit and relaxing. We had a suit, with coffee and two fans (no AC). There is a very large kitchen where you can cook your own food, all the pots and pan are supplied and clean. The room was clean, small, but a comfortable nights sleep. Towels and linens are provided and very clean. Your about 25 K's from the town of Pictontown, so keep that in mind.

The bed was low to the ground which was an issue for my back but clean and private room
