(August 19, 2020, 1:31 am)Lock staff are very friendly and helpful, clean washrooms open to boaters, great picnic areas. The cement walls are all new and smooth for walking. No fire pits, but still an amazing spot to over night on your boat. Hwy 12 is close by, but you can only hear the traffic if you really concentrate on it. Just stay on the top side, bottom side is directly under the Hwy bridge.

(August 23, 2019, 11:45 pm)Great place to stop and see some boats and learn some history of the Trent Severn waterway. The locks are opened and closed by hand and the staff here is great. The washrooms sparkle if you need to make a pit stop. Visit by car or boat!
