A piece of Canadian heritage sits idol for tourists to enjoy. Not in good shape but still worthwhile to visit.
Full of History! The grounds have a pathway that can be used during daylight hours. There is No Trespassing signs and the buildings are boarded up. Enter at your own risk. It’s a shame the Government has allowed this historical location fall to ruins. There is some paranormal activity here though and it makes for a great urban explore and fantastic photo opportunity!
Nice abandoned place to explore has many big buildings in the facility. Only reason why I would give this place three stars would be because most of the buildings are sealed with wood. This is probably the city because they might not want people to enter the buildings. But overall nice place to visit just to look around and explore.
Amazing reminder of an important place in history. It is unfortunate that developers have been able to hold it hostage without any responsibility to appropriately maintain it, in an attempt to extort what they want from the town (higher density housing = $$$$). It should be considered a crime, really.
In fact visitors are not actually allowed to visit the buildings up close (thank you again developers) as this would be considered trespassing.
If you can get in on a tour, definitely take it. Even if you can't get up close and personal, it is fascinating.
