*UPDATE 2020 unfortunately the geese still know where this place is but it is lovely all the same. Small rocky beach for kids and many benches and picnic tables. Not a lot of parking.

Currently under construction but worth the detour! Very accessible for disabled persons and the view is amazing. Dont miss the pier. Update July 2019: construction is complete however the walk down the pier can be treacherous. The rest remains very accessible and beautiful.

It's nice to see the different types of boat's, and setups.
I found the people who I talked to were helpful, kind and knowledgeable about Newcastle.
Will go back when the patios open up

Thank you to the young ladies working at The Brig. It is so nice to be able to get out and enjoy lunch at the marina and they provided a very safe environment. The Patio on the water is lovely and the food/drink was great. There were 4 of us for lunch on Canada Day and we really enjoyed the experience. They ensured the tables were sanitized after use, there was sanitizer at the door when you went in to order, there are socially distant circles so you know where to stand while you are waiting and the tables have been spaced out as well.

The wait staff, bartender and cook were really friendly and we thank you!
