Ì recently bought an ebike from this store. Ì knew what I wanted after owning a scooter before and this place was the closest to me.
I walked in thinking I was going to buy the Emmo 2 sport. They had me sit on it and right away we all knew....this was not the bike for me. This bike had a lot of weight and it was obvious it was not a comfortable, safe ride me. Ì was crushed instantly. Like what am I going to do now? This was the bike I wanted. Joanne was quick to point out the Emmo kamen and James pulled it out for me to sit on. This was the bike! This was my ride! It was perfect and I was comfortable instantly, which makes it safe.
Joanne and James were amazing to me! I felt so comfortable with them and their knowledge of different ebikes. They went above and beyond to make sure I had the right bike for me. They both went over everything regarding the bike, before I rode home.
I'm loving the bike! It's exciting to ride and gets me around great. Ì simply cannot say enough, of how I appreciate dealing with Joanne and James! Ì highly recommend getting an ebike and get it from them!

Model: 2020 EMMO "Monta 21AH"

I had an appointment with James & Joanne earlier this afternoon to discuss a bike I had my eye on. First and foremost, the covid safety policies here are excellent - 2 customers allowed in the store by appointment only makes me feel safe while I shop. Next I was impressed by Joanne's warm reception and careful assessment of my needs. At no time did I feel lead to any item outside of my price range. When I made my selection, James took the time to personally show me how to operate the bike and, in fact, didn't allow me to get ahead of myself as an inexperienced rider who just wanted to hurry up and ride. I appreciated the care they both displayed for my safety and will absolutely be back for tune ups and advice in the future!

After leaving I stayed out riding my new bike long after dark. It was easily the most fun I have had since being a teenager. I actually had 3 different strangers yell random compliments at me for how cool/fast the bike is.

You won't regret a purchase from these people.

Bought batteries that were new to realize that they were actually manufactured 2 years ago. I have been having issues with 1 battery at a time dying on me. The batteries I bought were dated 4 months after the date that was on the original batteries. So yes the were manufactured nearly 2 years ago. You did sell me 1 battery at 50 off as a good will gesture. Since I had the bike repaired at the Emmo Toronto location and placing in the new battery we have not had anymore issues. I understand that buying a used bike has no guarantees. I wrote the review above after I bought the batteries and before I came and got the 1/2 price battery. I will in future check the date on all batteries I buy before I purchase them to avoid being upset in the future. I appreciate all that you have done to help us figure things out I have changed my rating from 1 to 4 stars because you did give me a deal on the 1 replacement battery and have been very nice and helpful.

I just recently purchased a 2020 Green Zone GTS from Durham E-Bikes. The customer service is unmatched by any other. And my experience throughout the entire process exceeded my expectations. I just bought the new 2021 Emmo Knight Super Turbo, everything went as smooth as butter and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. James and his staff were awesome and very helpful. I highly recommend Durham E-bikes
