Steve's Guitar Garage

I’ve been looking for a luthier that I could meet in person and discuss what I need to get done. A friend of mine recommended that I checked this Steve guy. Steve is REALLY awesome at his art/job. He’s SOOOO meticulous that when it came time to pick up my guitar, he noticed something, a small detail that didn’t sit well with him. He could’ve left it, but he didn’t. Steve’s great at communicating with you as a customer as he ALWAYS answered my texts/calls. I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who wants quality repair work done while also being able to meet him in person, something sorely lacking in those BIG chains of music stores!!!

Steve knows what he's doing. For a relatively young businessman, he seems to have many years of experience and an expertise in meeting his customers demands. From my first dealings with him, he greeted me cheerfully, gave me the answers and followed through with the goods. On a hot, sticky Friday night rush hour, he even took time out to personally deliver a bass and amp to my home in Whitby. I'll be doing a lot of business with Steve because he knows what he's doing and he possesses that good old fashioned sense of value.

I’d always brought my guitars to a guitar store or music store for their maintenance for 17 years now. Had some questionable and just outright unsatisfactory work done with the big name stores. Never again. Steve’s work is top notch at half the price with double the passion and drive to satisfy his customers and ensure their guitars and amps are setup to their specifications! This guy TRULY loves his job and you can tell within minutes of talking to him. Fast response and exceptional work! He’s my guitar guy from now on!!

This guy is a professional and he is 100% fair. My bridge pickup stopped working all of a sudden and he was able to fix it for next to nothing, was happy enough that I had him give my guitar the works while he had it, electrical work, fret level and full setup/restring. Had that baby back in only a few days and it's never played better. I will absolutely be going to him in the future and would definitely recommend him to fellow musicians.
