Yumys Chicken and Seafood

Three of us decided to give Yumys a try this afternoon. What a GREAT surprise !! Not only was the chicken juicy, the outer layer was crispy and tasty too. We were also pleased with the price of the 3 piece lunch special, the size of each piece was huge and the salad delicious !! Top it off with a very sweet owner and our lunch was superb. I ordered a few broast pieces, some chicken nuggets and shrimps. Shrimps were really nice and the nuggets. Chicken might have been a bit undercooked but that was just for me. My friends got good meat. I can forgive that for them being relatively cheap. And most importantly for me, one of the few halal places!

Warm place and extremely friendly people. The chicken is crispy full of flavour, and best of all it tastes very fresh, and feels wholesome. You can tell they worked hard on the quality of their ingredients. The chicken sandwich is really good, and it tastes way better than popeyes. You can get mild or spicy, be sure to try both. The guy gave me extra sauce free of charge. A really welcoming place with hot food that hits the spot.

I decided to go to this restaurant as a recommendation from a friend, I went into the store with thoughts of mediocre chicken and etc, yet when I went, I got more than what I had expected. Wait times are a little bit longer than I was comfortable with, but if you enjoy spicy chicken, this is the perfect place for you. Every time I have gone to yumys, I've had delicious chicken. I recommend the chicken sandwich if you're a first timer.
