Makimono Sushi Bar & Restaurant

Good selection and food. The fried items were a little bit on the oily side... Oil temperature not hot enough Salmon sushi and sashimi was very good. I would say it's on the pricey side though...granted we went Friday dinner.

Definitely a nice place for occasions or date night!

My server never returned to ky table after serving one of the guest at my table, he brought one drink then left. He didn't even show us how to use the menu. Then I had to grab the attention of another server due to a disappointment of noticing a poorly cleaned bench that I was sitting at had a dirty nappin stuffed into the bench cushion. However a young server named Brandon with and manbun was absolutely ? % exceptionally amazing. His quick service and was very apologetic about the lack of service from our original server, and stepped up the the plate he started serving my table and was very polite and attentive without being that server who's always at your table. He was very quick to serve other tables as well. If you do come here. Make sure to get Brandon. And tip him well he deserves it ! He works hard.

Went for a celebratory lunch. Food was great and so was the service. I surely recommend to give it a try.

Our absolute favourite place to eat in Oshawa! Super friendly staff, great food (and lots of it), at a good price! Can't wait to go back
