Well managed and maintained place. Staff is friendly and helpful. The public entrance is located 300 meters left of the main entrance off Ritson road. Stop at the first gate to weigh your vehicle, then drive to the dumping area and ask the staff for the correct bin where you can dispose waste. On the way out, weigh the vehicle at the exit and pay according to difference in weight. We paid $10 for almost 85 KGs. Easy and fast process.

The staff there are so friendly! We went Saturday afternoon. Line up went pretty quick!

The staff are really nice and it is very easy to use facility. They charge $5 for mixed garbage under 40kg and they will weight your car in/out.

Good management facility with decent disposal rates... Only thing I would say is the listing is very hard to find online digitally.. you might want to include the words 'dump' 'garbage' and "Oshawa or Whitby" in your keywords as "Region of Durham Waste Management" is not an intuitive search term that allows you to discover the dump easily...
