Happy with the response of the maintainence team for an issue with our front door and some issues with the furniture and lighting which needed fixing. They come quickly and manage things efficiently and quickly and even answer questions patiently. Would like to mention Frank who came on a Saturday evening when we realized our door was not latching. Only wish it was easier to contact the maintenance as the Walter app is confusing.Even after posting a comment the person at emergency line told me that I am not listed as a tenant and he doesn't not have my complaint info.
Once again I was quite impressed with the maintenance repairs done to my unit. Didn't wait long for their arrival, and they figured out the problems quickly and efficiently. Good problem solvers. Courteous. Nice to see a follow up as well. Thanks again 👍
The varsity teams are so great. They are friendly and kind and they will answer your questions as soon as possible, The really do their best to feel comfortable. Although the location is so good near the Durham college and UOIT. You can have access to the bus transit easily.
I recommend here to all students who are interested.
I have spent the last 2 and a half years living at Varsity Communities and I will confidently say that this was a wonderful experience. The location was perfect and accessible to transit, school among all of the restaurants near by. The team at varsity were always so accommodating and would help me with any questions and concerns I had. The building was always kept clean and inviting. It was definitely hard for to leave varsity communities but I leave with so many amazing memories.
When Varsity Communities first started back in 2019, it had a rocky start due to several problems and issues that arise while making sure the new tenants can settle in comfortably. After staying here for a year (and another year to go!), it's refreshing to see Varsity improve their overall quality and service to tenants and making sure things go well!
Housekeeping happens monthly, and the cleanliness level of their service is top notch (which is fully appreciated during the Covid pandemic), management will do their best to reply to messages and queries in a professional manner and work things out in the end.
Having your own private washroom means more personalizing and your own organizing that makes the room uniquely yours. An in-unit washer and dryer makes it even better, with convenience at hand! While the kitchen can be small, it's workable once you plan things out with your roommates.
Here's to another great year ahead, thank you Varsity!
