(September 1, 2017, 6:42 am)My mother was in a lovely suite at Chartwell for approximately 2 years. The staff was amazing. She made some wonderful new friends there. We really felt that she was her healthiest there because there were nutritious meals provided. The home itself is newer and is bright and clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend this Chartwell location.
(August 22, 2017, 11:15 pm)Whenever i volunteer at Chartwell i always go home happier and thankful. The residents are always smiling and just extremely happy. They always have activities that are very interesting and i can see how Residents are always looking forward to it. To name some of my favorites are the Java music club, outdoor outings, eating on some of the restaurants, visiting some beautiful places and so much more! And i so love how the Chartwell always have different decors everytime i visit. It's always clean, foods are great and all the staff are amazingly friendly. And to sum it up it always felt like everyone is one big family at the Chartwell Pickering Centre.
(July 21, 2017, 2:55 pm)Chartwell Pickering City Centre Retirement residence opened up there doors to our hockey team The Pickering Panthers Jr A team a few weeks back. Our players took part in Sr Prom night at Chartwell. First hand I got to witness what an unbelievable place of residency this place is. The care and love to the residents was unbelievable. We can't wait to continue to work with Chartwell Pickering in the future.

Warm and friendly staff. Comfortable surroundings, close to Pickering Town-Center, Library and all conveniences. Wonderful food and service! As good or better than many hotels. I would recommend Chartwell, City Centre in Pickering.
