So happy we found Sonja with Pathway eduction services . Our son has been struggling for some time in school with some learning challenges . We are pleased to see an improvement in his reading, memory, writing and much more and he is becoming more and more confident and he doesn’t get overwhelmed when presented with tasks . Since we have been Sonja his teachers are also advising his reading etc is improving and they are very proud of him and to keep up the good work . We look forward to seeing more progress with each lesson

My son has been with Pathway Education for well over a year with great success. He is gaining a solid knowledge of the English language, self-confidence as well as a great work ethic. My son Andrew has been seeing Sonja for tutoring for the past year and a half. As a result of the pandemic we made the decision to continue with Andrew's lessons via Skype twice a week. I received tutoring from Sonja specifically for help with syllogisms on the police exam (PATI).
Sonja was the only tutor I contacted who understood these crazy things.

Just before grade 3 our child was diagnosed with auditory processing disorder (dyslexia) and we had to move her from a full French to English school. She did not grasp any of the early stage math or reading concepts during her time in French school. We were fortunate enough to find Sonja who is not only an amazing person but accredited by Dyslexia Canada specializing in this learning disability. Our child went from English reading level 3 to 19 in just a few months. Aside from substantial improvements in reading and writing, she has learned cursive, telling time, math concepts & strategies (incl times tables), all through repetitive learning with Sonja. She has improved significantly and is now in grade 6 and has gone from a C student to a B student. She is also less anxious and frustrated & has gained confidence with her academic abilities. We also believe this has helped her socially in class as she can equally participate in group work with less obvious difficulty or "signs of a learning disability". We are so thankful to Sonja for her patience and support of our daughter and look forward to having her continue these valuable sessions with Sonja on a weekly basis. We have and will continue to recommend her to other parents.

Sonja is not only incredibly personable and easy to work with, but a consummate professional who has a knack for working with kids like my son. Over the last seven months, my teen (struggling with ADHD) has gained skills which translated to better grades and an easier time in school. Even better, he has gained confidence which improved his self esteem. Sonja has been very encouraging to a child who worried a lot about whether or not he could do well with schooling or beyond.
