Pickering Event Centre

Pickering Event Centre made our night a night we will cherish for years. We decided the best way to review them is to break down how outstanding their service has been overall:
1. Booking the event space: Our primary contact throughout was Johney (one of the owners), and it was a pleasure to work with him. He answered all our emails promptly and with clarity and always had his answers in blue under our questions to make it easier.
2. Day of event: The Pickering event centre accommodated our needs and allowed us to access the venue earlier as we were the venue's decorators. Allowing us early access meant a lot to us as it allowed for a stress-free setup. Of course, this depended on whether a different event used the space.
3. Night of event: Every staff member worked hard to ensure our night was a success. The staff and owners were not only ensuring things were taken care of; they were so pleasant to deal with. We loved how they had a digital menu over their bar to make it easy for our guests to understand our inventory. We loved how they had a monitor at the front for us to have a digital seating chart.

The space is cozy and perfect for 150 attendees. We loved how it was easy to customize a package based on our needs, thanks to the many options they have. We loved how they already had a hedge wall, which made it easy for us to utilize for our photo booth. The place is well designed, and we see ourselves having more intimate events here in the future. Thank you, Pickering Event Centre, for a great night.

We got married on April 10, 2022, and received the most impeccable service from this venue.

To begin with, the owner Abhishek was an absolute pleasure to work with. Not only did he accommodate all our needs during a pandemic , and with a 4 month window to work with, he treated my family with the upmost respect. He made himself available whenever we needed and replied to emails very quickly. The morning of my wedding, the decorator needed to be at the venue to begin setting up by 6:00 AM. The night before, there was an event until 2:00AM and he still showed up on time. For that, I am truly grateful to you. We also went from planning a wedding with a 50% capacity to almost full capacity due to the ongoing restriction changes during the pandemic. We changed the number of guests attending around a month before, and again this was accommodated with ease.

The venue was spotless and beautiful from beginning to end. The staff was very kind and accommodating to all of our guests.

One of the best parts of this venue is the food! We had appetizers, lunch, dessert and bar service. We received a tremendous amount of compliments on the food after our wedding. It was absolutely delicious! Each and every single item!

So if you are looking for a venue which you can host any type of event with class, delicious food, incredible service and simply beautiful, please consider this place. I promise it’s the best decision you’ll make! Thank you again for hosting my dream wedding!

I held my Residency Match Celebration here very recently. I loved this place so much. Johney (one of the owners and event managers) was incredibly helpful in making the event as successful as it was. He was readily available, helpful and extremely resourceful when it came to helping my family and I set up the venue. The owners are incredibly nice and generous people, and I would happily run another event here. The venue has a very modern and charming quality to it, and most importantly the audio/visual quality was excellent for what my band and other performers needed. Highly recommend this venue for any function.

What a gem in Pickering - the absolute best service and staff!! The food is on another level - make sure you try the jerk chicken!!
