Use this trail almost every day. Best trail in this area.
This is an excellent trail experience. Best in a group. Not maintained all seasons, so be alert and prepared to detour if a section is not safe to cross. The best section is between Whitevale and the Pickering dog park. You may opt to take shorter hikes from either side of the trail and return back to your starting point. Otherwise you have to arrange for two cars. The trail changes from year to year. Highly advisable to have company and a fully charged phone if you plan to attempt the full trail. It is also a good idea to let someone know your where abouts before taking a hike.
Beautiful safe easy trail
Fantastic trail even in the winter. Moderate trail, was cool to see the river frozen.
Beautiful trail thru nice woods, serene, far from the city's crowds.
