I have been an employee at Stewart Homes, for several years and the job has absolutely been rewarding. The residents priority, has always been and remains the number one priority. The residents are cared for and loved immensely. Great place to work. Supervisors and Managers work assiduously, in ensuring that the staff, has all the required supplies needed to work effectively. The environment is safe and the employees work as a team, Stewart Homes, is not just a home, it is Family.

It is really nice to be part of this team. Kids are always be in my heart wherever I go in future. I learned so many things from this job in terms of values and other cultures. Most of the people are keeping work environment positive and friendly. You can always find help whenever you need. Working schedule is flexible and dress code is casual.

During this pandemic period , the way they handled situation that is incredible.

Overall my experience so far was awesome with this agency and the people.

My first experience with Stewart Homes was as a student for community placement and it was a wonderful learning experience that afterwards I had the opportunity to work as a direct care worker but now I am a former employee at the Glenview Residence after working there roughly for almost 2 years (I left as I had to go back to school). I felt supported and heard by my supervisor, Emily. She was a really strong leader in making sure that the residents are taken care of and ensuring that the house is full of warmth & love and make it feel like home for these residents. The seniority staff were very welcoming and helpful in making sure that you are trained properly and safe when providing care for one of the residents. The work experience gets tough as any other care settings, but the other staff working are supportive and help you when you need a break or need help. It’s always a good time when there are special occasions like baptism, birthdays, Christmas, New Years etc because all staff work together to have preparations done to make sure the residents feel special and have the best time. Grateful for this experience. Thank you Glenview staff for all your hard work and love to make sure the residents are well taken care of!

I have worked for Stewart Homes for 10 almost 11 wonderful years, I have worked in almost every house in both regions including in the office in both a front line worker role as well as a supervisory role. I have thoroughly enjoyed the work that I do for Stewart Homes.

I find that the managers and supervisors are in it for all the right reasons, they care about the kids fiercely and do all they can to protect them.

The front line staff are the foundation of this company, they are the ones that work directly with the kids and ensure that they are laughing and smiling each day. I am blessed to work with such a wonderful team and I could not imagine working for a different agency.

This agency stands behind their beliefs and values, when they are aware of a concern, those concerns are always addressed. They are discreet and keep confidential information confidential, I have never had concerns with expressing my struggles both at home and in the workplace with my managers as any information that I have not wanted relayed has remained confidential.

I am proud to work for such an outstanding company, and I look forward to continuing the work we do here for many years to come!

Working with the children and young adults here is a special experience. They're truly awesome to work with and have a positive impact on you. I left Stewart Homes about two years ago and I still think about the clients every once in awhile. They're very memorable in a good way and you gain alot of good experience while working here.
