I was such a nice relief to have Alyssa represent my case (separation agreement ) During my time of separation she was always so pleasant, professional, helpful and answer calls and emails in a timely manner and always provided any information/feedback needed. I had the pleasure of retaining the services of Alyssa De Palma this past year to handle my separation process; and I am so happy with not only the end result; but, the whole process as well. Alyssa is a true professional when it comes to handling the Family Law process; her ethics and attention to detail were my most valuable asset through every step. Early on; part of me thought that I could handle the process on my own and take care of navigating everything myself; I mean how hard could it be right...; I realized in the first 5 minutes of talking to Alyssa that this would never have been a viable option and would have eventually costing me more; multiple times over. I am someone that loves working with numbers and I honestly would have given up part way through the financial disclosure portion; the work involved is incredible; I wouldn't have had a chance!

Alyssa was able to guide me through everything properly and would ensure that I stayed on course; when irrationality started to cause me to steer that way myself. This was not an easy process and it was words like "well Tyler, I guess you could do that and see if your actions make the situation any easier; or, perhaps I could contact opposing council and try to work together on a solution to this small issue before it gets bigger" that kept me grounded; she talked me off a ledge more times than I can count and advised me that certain things would only lead to a longer process. The opposing side will always try to win little battles that appear on the surface to be big; but, Alyssa always opened my eyes to the fact that they really weren't and to stay the course towards what truly was.

My process took roughly 6 months from start to finish and was so seamless that this review feels like it is taking longer; it was an incredible feeling when it was done. I remember Alyssa telling me that she was surprised at how quickly everything progressed and attributed it to the fact that both sides negotiated well; however, it is my belief that this only happened because Alyssa was able to take advantage of every tiny bit of co-operation from the other side; and use it to lead to a little more co-operation and eventually increase the negotiation process.

Thanks to Alyssa, I was able to keep my house, still afford to send my daughter to University without leaving her with a student loan at the end and continue to progress in my life without this hanging over me; I am so thankful for everything she did. I am happy to say that both sides came out of this process and are progressing on their own; of course we took our lumps; that is bound to happen, nobody wins in a separation or divorce; not even the lawyers! The number of hours that a lawyer dedicates and the work involved in dealing with one of the toughest situations anyone can go through is staggering; I actually cannot believe how little I ended up paying.

Whether you are in the decision process of whether or not to even talk to a lawyer or have already spoken with Alyssa; you owe it to yourself to retain her services. I can tell you first hand that you can rest assured that your situation will be handled properly and will end with the best possible outcome; I came out on top because of the team I had working on my behalf; led by Alyssa De Palma!
