I don't really give 5 star ratings, because I believe that 5 out of 5 equals perfection. No place is perfect. That being said, Shorty's (sorry that's my nickname for this cafe 😅) is about as good as you can get in the area. Pastries are delicious, espresso is done comparably to Uxbridge or Port Perry and the decor is modern and cozy. You can't do better in Brock Township atm. Keep up the good work.
Great, fresh coffee and delicious sandwhiches! Ive had their espressos and Americano and they taste great and were freshly made on the spot and served piping hot. Their egg salad sandwich is made with the perfect egg salad mix, topped with fresh lettuce and served in a fluffy, buttery croissant. I also tried one of their dessert squares (I think it had the name "Molly" in it). It's very rich and actually quite big, so it's perfect for sharing. The baristas and staff are all so nice and always smiling!
We visited today on a whim. We like trying out different coffee places, and saw that this place reviewed VERY WELL.
When we arrived, the place was small but neatly decorated in a kind of patina meets trendy feel.
The ladies working were very efficient and friendly. They recommended “lattes” which is apparently their most popular drink. They have a couple “milk alternatives” which is nice to see, but we stuck with good, old-fashioned milk.
Pricing is what one might expect of a small nicer coffee shop, well worth what we paid, (about $9) for 2 Lattes.
We found the coffee to be AROMATIC, HOT and TASTY! We would CERTAINLY return! Thank you.
Probably one of the best London Fog and Cappuccinos we have tasted.
But if caffeine is not your thing (I am sorry for you) try the cookies because they are off the chain, the peanut chocolate chip is our favorite.
Drinks are a little on the pricey side for the size but again the quality can't be argued. Will definitely be back to try more.
The greatest thing to happen in town since .. sliced bread. The perfect spot for a coffee and a snack. The owners are welcoming, the environment is calm and peaceful. Come for the baked goods, stay for the immaculate vibes.
Vegan options. Coffee, tea, Italian soda, baked goods, sandwiches and milk alternatives !
