Sewing and Alterations Uxbridge

I just recently discovered Margaret. I took several cocktail dresses to her for alterations. She was very pleasant and helpful... she knows her stuff. She made good suggestions and took a genuine interest in ensuring she got it right! I was very happy with her work. Since then she has done a few other alteration projects with the same enthusiasm and professionalism. I would definitely recommend Margaret for any tailoring/alteration. She's definitely "worth the drive to Uxbridge"!

Margaret is an exceptional seamstress, who altered my bridesmaids dress for my sister's wedding. She precisely hemmed the dress, shortened the straps, and even created a matching bow tie (for my nephew that I walked down the aisle with) using the extra fabric from the dress. I will use her services again and I recommend her to anyone who needs an alteration done right and exactly the way you want it!

I wanted to have the zipper on my jacket replaced but didn't want to spend too much money. Margaret provided excellent service at an affordable cost and in a timely manner. I will be returning to Margaret in the future for clothing repairs or alterations needed. I highly recommend Margaret! Margaret recently tailored this coat to fit my body. She took off length in the arms and made nice cuffs to fir comfortably around my wrists and she shortened the length of the coat.

I had several pieces that I took to Margaret and she was AMAZING. Very friendly and warm. Lovely family around her too. AND her sewing was GREAT and very reasonably priced. I had three pant hems done and they were perfect AND she took an old bridesmaid gown of mine and altered it to be a short cocktail dress. It's so adorable now! Definitely awesome to have a great tailor nearby. Will definitely be using her regularly.
