Glen Major Forest

A great place for a hike, or just a stroll. Caution should be exercised during winter, as icy patches may exists throughout the trail.

Excellent place to snowshoe as we found lots of areas that others had not walked on previously. We enjoy fat biking and hiking in the summer, basically year round.

Beautiful hiking trails of moderate difficulty involving changes in elevation. You may want to bring some snowshoes in Winter, but sturdy boots should suffice.

The trails were great. The three of us snowshoed 5 klm and feel honored to have such great trails available to us. Thanks to Durham Mt. Biking club for their hard work.

Went with my dog in mid November after a snow fall of about 15cm of snow had fallen. No bikers; couple of runners; several dog walkers. Our first time. Great place. We both enjoyed it.
