  If I were to rate Thistledown out of 10, I would give them 30. Yes, 30. I cannot even find words to express my gratitude for the kindness and respect they showed my family and I (and of course our dear Mastiff) last fall. When our fur baby passed away, we were shattered. Colin and Nancy (and their sweet dog Kira) were empathetic, helpful, patient and honest. They are not in the business for money, but simply for the love of dogs. It's taken much time to deal with my dog's passing, so this review ended up being a few months late. Thank you Colin and Nancy for everything.

  Took wonderful care of my daughter’s three bunnies. No pressure to buy more than what my daughter wanted. A very peaceful place. Highly recommend.

  Perfect. I knew from the first seconds of her accident that Scheibe could not survive. I knew in the first seconds of her death I could not let the vet bag her up. I imagined having something much better for her. I stumbled upon Thistledown's admittedly dated website. Do not be put off by that. Nancy and Collin excelled in every regard. If you go anywhere else you will regret it.

  Thistledown Pet Memorial is an amazing sanctuary for pet owners who have to deal with the passing of their beloved pet. Nancy and Colin make you feel so welcomed and they share your grief. We have dealt with them on 3 separate occasions with the passing of our beautiful dogs who are now in Rainbow Bridge all playing together forever. Their recent book Life, Loss and Celebration is truly a book I would recommend any pet owner to read...it is very inspiring and I don't read too many books. Thank you so very much.

  Colin and Nancy's love of animals and compassion for those grieving their lost loved ones shines through every time they speak. I came to Thistledown with a heavy heart and not expecting much, but when I left it felt like a great weight had been lifted off my shoulders. I know that Coco is in good hands now. Colin and Nancy, you two are something special, and I'm so grateful to have met such wonderful people during such a difficult time. Thank you for doing what you do with so much love and kindness.
