Lovely home made food, great for lunches and also for meetings. Their High Tea is also a wonderful treat. Definitely a place to go and enjoy their menu!
A nice place for small groups. Planning a Tea party? This is a nice place to do this?
I visited the space for a meeting.
I brought my Mom here on Saturday. I've been previously and knew she'd like it too. We arrived just after 3:00 and waited for only a minute were and seated. I did notice we were the only customers and I was a little surprised to see that many of the tables were yet to be cleared. It was busy last time too, so assumed it had been another successful day. We enjoyed a delicious salad and quiche and visited over coffee. It was a lovely visit and off we were! Only today did I realize that this wonderful little place was CLOSED when we arrived! And, it's even more wonderful staff prepared and served us having never said a word!!! I'm beyond embarrassed and apologize to each of you. Huge shout out...truly above and beyond the call of duty. We'll be back...within opened hours ????
I cannot begin to say how wonderful a place this tea-house is. I went there as part of the beginning of my wife and I taking a relaxing weekend. We had made reservations and as we wanted to make sure we got a table. The owner had noted online that they were taking a day off however for those with reservations they would remain open. We arrived and were seated and were very surprised how nice and quiet it was. The owner's Step mother (who was working there alone but was also cooking for us) remarked that the radio was not functioning. I replied it is nice to have it quiet though. We were treated to an excellent meal with fresh pineapple, quiche ( with an absolutely amazing crust and fluffy filling), a perfectly baked scone with fresh jam and (oh so good) devonshire cream, a butternut squash soup ( i could eat it every day) and lastly ( thinking that the first three were the end of the meal) a fresh crepe with a variety of fruits with custard ....and more of that devonshire cream! All the while eating surrounded by a gallery of paintings by local artists. I highly recommend this place as it is a perfect place for a great breakfast.
Bit out of the way, but worth the visit - Delicious food! Everything tasted so fresh, and had really great flavour combinations. It was busy when we went and there was only one server on, so it was pretty slow getting our order taken, but the yum factor made up for it! Would def go again!
