Have been taking our vehicles there for years, Doug is always friendly and goes above and beyond in diagnosing and fixing our vehicles. Especially as a woman I know I have been taken advantage of by other mechanics and dealerships with Doug you can trust what he tells you. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

I had a no-start issue while far from home, and after having my car towed to the dreaded Canadian Tire for convenience's sake I quickly realized what a mistake that was. Over my several phone calls with Canadian Tire they explained how baffled they were as to what was causing the issue, that they would need at least 2.5-3hrs more to explore the problem further and could only say it was "an electrical issue". While they couldn't even hazard a guess as to what was wrong with it, and could offer nothing more than vague answers, the service rep told me he wouldn't be surprised if it ended up being $3,000 all said and done with parts and labour to get it started again as it was no doubt something very expensive that was broken.

Then I called Doug, who told me that despite being fully booked until the following week, if I could get my car over to his shop, he would take a look as soon as possible. During that initial call to Doug I mentioned the symptoms my car was having, and he immediately knew what the problem was and said he could fix it no problem.

Doug was not kidding, the issue was exactly as he had described on the phone and he had my car fixed and ready to go the very next day. Apparently this issue was extremely common for my make/model and he encountered it quite often.

All said and done, with parts and labour it came to a very reasonable $350 --- Doug happily saved me that extra $2,650 that Canadian Tire was all too willing to grab from my wallet. I won't hesitate to call Doug in the future!

Doug has been assisting me for years. He has given me good advice and I find that his rates are better than most. His staff is amazing too. I highly recommend trusting Doug with your vehicle.

Doug went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. We spoke daily on the phone before my car went in for repair. He did not hesitate to answer any concerns or questions that I had. On the day of the repair he called me to update me on what work was being done and to give me an opportunity to ask any more questions. The secretary that called me for pick up was polite and kind. Doug went over the repair with me and answered all my concerns. He was diligent in his work and his prices were fair. I will be returning to Doug as my go-to mechanic.
