Julian Dean Photography

My husband and I were searching high and low for a photographer for our wedding and we came across Julian Dean Photography. From our initial meeting with Dean, we knew we had to have him capture all our moments of our engagement as well as our wedding. He put in an effort to get to know us before hand to ensure that the photos he took would reflect us as a couple.

For our engagement photos Dean was able to include a passion of mine. I've worked with horses most of my life and we were able to capture some pretty amazing photos that included Poncho. Not only did he work with the horse, but was also able to capture photos of us with our dog as well. He was patient, kind, creative and displayed his passion in a very professional and enthusiastic way. The pictures were beyond our expectations and left us both speechless.

For our wedding he was not only our photographer but also our guest. Dean, along with his assistant Diana, were an incredibly team. Dean and Diana was brilliant from start to finish. They were organized, relaxed and truly seemed to enjoy every aspect of the day. They are an upbeat team, personable, efficient and friendly. Because of their personalities we were completely comfortable and relaxed throughout the whole day. We have received nothing but compliments on our choice of photographer from our guest.
We truly are forever grateful for everything Dean was able to do for us. He is an exceptional person and we are so glad that we had the pleasure to work with him on our special day. Our thoughts on Julian Dean Photography...

We first saw the work of Dean and Mandy when our friends had their engagement photos done. Then my fiance was in the wedding and got to experience Dean and Mandy doing what they love. Once we got engaged it was obvious that we wanted them to be our photographers for our engagement and wedding photos. So far they have done the engagement photos and they were FABULOUS!!! With Dean and Mandy you not only get beautiful memories to keep forever, but you get a great experience! They are friendly and easy going and they make it comfortable. We are so excited for the wedding in a couple of months and so happy to know Dean and Mandy will be with us throughout the day to capture every moment of it. I know in the future for family, maternity, baby pictures, etc. we will definitely use Dean and Mandy.

I had the good fortune to meet Julian four years ago while shooting the bands at the Burlington Sound of Music Festival and we have remained “camera” friends ever since. I recently had the opportunity to shoot an Engagement series for a friend and Julian was the first person I went to for assistance and he came through like a trooper. I have been watching his portfolio and reputation grow in the past few years and had the opportunity to assist him as a “second shooter” for one of his engagements. What I learned from Julian that day was more that I could have ever wished for. Observing his unique method of capturing those special and intimate moments between the Bride and the Groom and the way he handled the family members from both sides was a students dream come true.
