As a fellow student of Fairview Glen Montessori, I have always been very proud to say that I was one of the students there. Even at my new school, which I do like, I must admit that Fairview Glen has this very special place in my heart. All my time there was amazing, through and through. Academically, emotionally, socially, and just in general: it felt right.
I miss the friendly staff, my classmates and the atmosphere itself.
Thank you all for the wonderful 8 years!
Grace Z.
We’d like to express our gratitude to all administrative members as well as all the teachers at Fairview Glen. From the very moment when we first arrived there, when our daughter was 4, just to tour around the school, till the last day of Grade 6, it had been nothing but a positive experience for our entire family. Not only had Grace advanced there academically and socially, but they also helped her build a solid foundation as a student and taught her how to be a better person. The delicate balance of the True Montessori approach, amazing teachers and supportive parents’ community makes Fairview Glen Montessori School the place to be for any child. We wish they went up to Grade 12!
Thank you to everyone at FGM. We will miss you!
Stella Z.
Fairview Glen Montessori is a great school with strong academics and an excellent team of teachers and staffs.
We started our journey at Fairview Glen about nine years ago after visiting many schools and day care centers in the Milton and Burlington area.
Our oldest child has since graduated and the youngest will be done in another year. So we can say that we know the school really well.
The decision to go to Fairview Glen was not easy given that in our case it is a fair drive to get our kids to school every day. For about three years the driving involved ten extra hours a week on the road to school and back. So we sacrificed a lot to have our kids there in time spent and a decade of tuition fees.
We have become firm believers in the Montessori teaching and the way it is applied at the school. The staff have been stable through the entire nine years which is a testimony of the school's ability to retain their excellent teaching and support staff. The environment is friendly and conducive to academic excellence and exploration.
My son who graduated from the school a year ago thinks that having him in Fairview Glen has been the best decision we could have done. He thinks that he and his fellow Fairview Glen graduates are far ahead of their peers in other schools.
This school has very good faculty, manages to make the subjects enjoyable, and sometimes teaches things 2 years ahead of the Ontario curriculum. For instance, my brother is in grade 5 and is currently learning the exact same things that my grade 7 class in a different school is learning. Don't let the high prices of other private schools fool you, they most likely teach at the exact same speed as a public school. If you choose to invest in private school, I recommend Fairview Glen.
